Texas moved up to No. 7 in our ESPN recruiting rankings update this month, despite losing the nation's No. 1 receiver, Ricky Seals-Jones.

The Longhorns still have Darius James, No. 17 on our ESPN 150 and the nation's No. 1 center. He's the top commit in Texas' fold, which has seven ESPN 150 commits, 10 ESPN 300 commits and 14 commits overall.

Texas commitment Jake Raulerson jumped from No. 81 to No. 56 on our list, thanks to a solid summer around the camp circuit. He's now the nation's No. 3 offensive tackle.

Oklahoma has been higher at earlier spots this recruiting season, but stayed at No. 15 in our latest update. The Sooners have 13 commits, including four from the ESPN 150 and seven from the ESPN 300.

The Big 12's only other team in the top 25? Baylor, which was as high as No. 21 earlier this season, but is now at No. 23.

Not a very good recruiting season for the Big 12 so far, but we'll see if the league picks it up over the next few months. We've still got more than six months before signing day.
