Backup Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones has looked sharp early in relief of Sam Bradford.

Jones, who threw a Sooner record six touchdown passes earlier this season against Idaho State, just directed a 54-yard scoring drive capped by a 37-yard Jimmy Stevens to boost Oklahoma's lead to 6-0.

But of more pressing concern for the Sooners is the condition of Bradford, who was injured earlier in the first quarter on a blitz by cornerback Aaron Williams.

Bradford is wearing is helmet and gingerly tried to make some 10-yard throws with some pain. But he remains upright and appears to be doing what he can to re-enter the game.
