Oklahoma may be the Big 12 favorite, but the fans have spoken. The Sooners ran away with the vote for the Big 12 team 'most likely to disappoint.'
Oklahoma collected 31 percent of the vote, more than any other candidate. TCU came in second, at 23 percent.
Recent injuries have a lot to do with that, as well as a common opinion around the Big 12 that the Sooners' biggest star, Landry Jones, is overrated.
I don't agree, but sometimes expectations on Jones can be a bit high.
As for the race to be the Big 12's most surprising team? It was unbelievably tight.
Iowa State and Kansas State tied, with 24 percent of the vote.
Oklahoma State and Texas Tech tied for third place with 21 percent of the vote.
What'd you think of the votes? I felt like all five teams in both polls were good candidates, and could all win, so I'm not all that surprised by the results.
