Several readers have inquired over the past several hours about what will happen to Sam Bradford's draft status with his recent shoulder injury.
Mel Kiper's most recent Big Board dropped Bradford from the potential first pick in the draft to fifth after his injury against Texas. It's an indication that pro scouts will have to be impressed again by Bradford in his show of durability after the earlier maladies from this season.
A potential drop in draft selection could cost Bradford millions if he chooses to declare for the NFL draft. His aim would be to improve his standing among scouts with a strong set of workouts at the NFL combine, if he declares.
Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh took advantage of Bradford's dip to jump into the No. 1 slot this week in Kiper's rankings.
But the biggest single jump was made by Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung, who soared from 10th to sixth.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy had the biggest drop after his struggles in the Oklahoma game, falling from eighth to 18th.
