Here's how the polls slotted the Big 12 teams after three weeks of football.

Once again, remember: The Associated Press poll is not factored into the BCS formula, but the USA Today poll is.

Associated Press (media)
  • 6. Oklahoma
  • 8. West Virginia
  • 12. Texas
  • 15. Kansas State
  • 17. TCU
Others receiving votes:

  • 27. Baylor
  • 31. Oklahoma State
  • 32. Iowa State
  • 37. Texas Tech
Count 'em up: That's nine (of 10) Big 12 teams receiving a pretty hefty share of votes. Texas Tech grabbed five votes in the poll, and Iowa State had 15.

USA Today (coaches)
  • 5. Oklahoma
  • 7. West Virginia
  • 10. Texas
  • 13. Kansas State
  • 16. TCU
  • 25. Oklahoma State

Others receiving votes:
  • 28. Baylor
  • 31. Iowa State
  • 37. Texas Tech

Not too surprising to see Texas get a poll boost, but nice work from the Horns. Also, Oklahoma State is back in the coaches' poll after a week away, giving the Big 12 six ranked teams.

Nine of the league's 10 teams received voted in both of this week's polls.
