September is over, and it's time to check back up on where each Big 12 team is recruiting in the middle of the season. Signing day is in early February, so there's still plenty of time. As always, remember: Commitments are non-binding until a player signs a letter of intent in February.

We haven't updated the scorecard since training camps began, mostly because recruiting (or commitments, anyway) naturally slows down a bit as college and high school seasons hit full swing.

You'll need Insider to see it all, but click on each team's name to see their full class.

1. Texas Longhorns

Total commits: 14
ESPN 150 commits: 7
Key commits: QB Tyrone Swoopes, C Darius James, OT Jake Raulerson, OT Kent Perkins
Class update: Texas' class hasn't had much activity since we last updated, holding strong at 14 commitments. The Horns haven't added anyone since June 12, and have 10 players in the ESPN 300.

2. Oklahoma Sooners

Total commits: 12
ESPN 150 commits: 2
Key commits: RB Keith Ford, DE D.J. Ward, QB Cody Thomas
Class update: Six of Oklahoma's commits rank in the ESPN 300, including the latest commitment, safety Hatari Byrd, from Fresno, Calif. Grabbing guys from California like Tony Jefferson, Kenny Stills and Damien Williams is paying off for the Sooners.

3. Baylor Bears

Total commits: 20
ESPNU 150 commits: 1
Key commits: WR Robbie Rhodes, QB Chris Johnson, OLB Raaquan Davis, RB Johnny Jefferson
Class update: Baylor added guard Darius Moore since our last update, but this is definitely Art Briles' best class so far at Baylor.

4. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Total commits: 15
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: WR Fred Ross Jr., WR Marcell Ateman, DT Vincent Taylor, CB Darius Curry
Class update: The Cowboys haven't added a commitment since training camp opened, but three of their commits are in the ESPN 300, even though they've been shut out of the ESPN 150 so far.

5. West Virginia Mountaineers

Total commits: 17
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: LB Hodari Christian, ILB Darrien Howard, OT Marcell Lazard, DT De'Asian Richardson
Class update: West Virginia's added seven players to its class since we last updated, and linebacker Darien Howard surged into the ESPN 300. The new additions helped West Virginia hop over Texas Tech. Defensive tackle De'Asian Richardson was the biggest new pickup, from Orange Park, Fla. Running back Wendell Smallwood has joined the fold, and so have athlete Daryl Worley and running back Jacky Marcellus. Wide receiver Daikiel Shorts Jr. is ready to sign up, but center Tyler Edwards committed earlier this week from Blinn Junior College. Five of West Virginia's 17 commits have at least four stars.

6. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Total commits: 18
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: ATH Devin Lauderdale, QB-PP Davis Webb, WR Dylan Cantrell, CB Maurice Chandler
Class update: Texas Tech has been a big mover since our last update, adding five commitments to its class and jumping over TCU to grab the No. 6 spot. Receiver Justis Nelson is the biggest new addition, a 6-foot-2, 168-pound receiver from Mesquite, Texas. The Red Raiders have two four-star commits.

7. TCU Horned Frogs

Total commits: 13
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: OLB Paul Whitmill, OLB Sammy Douglas, OG Patrick Morris
Class update: TCU added outside linebacker Dac Shaw since our last update. He's the nation's No. 73 outside linebacker from Mineola, Texas, checking in at 205 pounds. TCU doesn't have any players in the ESPN 300, but has one four-star commit.

8. Iowa State Cyclones

Total commits: 18
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: QB-PP Joel Lanning, CB D.A. Williams, RB Tyler Brown
Class notes: Iowa State has added eight commits to its class, and 13 of those 18 have three stars. Iowa State added quarterback Paul Lanning and guard Nick Severs since our last update. Offensive tackle Vincent Johnson, the nation's No. 118 tackle is a new Cyclone, along with No. 126 outside linebacker Brian Mills. Wide receiver Bryan Ajumobi and guard Ryan Glenn are also new. Glenn is from the same high school as ISU star linebacker Jake Knott. The Cyclones also added a running back from the juco ranks, Aaron Wimberly.

9. Kansas Jayhawks

Total commits: 9
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: TE Ben Johnson, LB Kellen Ash, QB Jordan Darling
Class update: Kansas has added three commits since our last update. KU now has offensive tackle Joey Bloomfield and a pair of juco defenders -- outside linebacker Marcus Jenkins-Moore and defensive end Andrew Bolton -- ready to come to Lawrence and join Charlie Weis' squad.

10. Kansas State Wildcats

Total commits: 6
ESPNU 150 commits: 0
Key commits: ILB Isaiah Williams, ILB Tanner Wood, DE Jordan Willis, WR LeAndrew Gordon
Class update: Kansas State added two commits since our last update, including the class' new top commit, inside linebacker Isaiah Williams, the nation's No. 40 player at the position. Quarterback-pocket passer Jesse Ertz also committed to Bill Snyder's squad.
