Robinson not fazed by Texas' KO streak of rival QBs

Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson knows that Texas has knocked opposing quarterbacks out of the game in their last three games.
Despite that streak, Robinson said he isn’t that concerned about the Longhorns and their vaunted pass rush.
Missouri's Blaine Gabbert was the most recent opposing quarterback to be sent to the sidelines, knocked out late in the third quarter in the Longhorns’ 41-7 victory in Columbia Saturday night. Earlier, Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and Colorado’s Cody Hawkins left the game before it was finished. And only a resilient effort by Texas Tech quarterback Taylor Potts kept him in the game in the Longhorns’ first conference game after facing the pounding of the Longhorns' defense.
“I know they aren’t intentionally knocking people out,” Robinson said. “And I know that Blaine Gabbert had been hurt with his ankle before that game. It was unfortunate.
“But it’s not something you can think or worry about. You just play. I know they’ll fly around and hit, but so does everybody else. We’re excited about playing against such a great defense.”
Texas' defense leads the nation in rush defense, ranks second in total defense and is among the top 10 in pass efficiency defense. The Longhorns, Alabama and Penn State are the only teams in the nation to rank among the top 10 in all of those statistical categories.
