Here are some recruiting nuggets provided by Tom Luginbill, the national recruiting director for ESPN's Scouts Inc., about some Big 12-related prospects.
WR Quincy Enunwa
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect chose the Huskers over an offer from Washington State. He visited Lincoln officially for the game against Texas Tech two weeks ago.
Nebraska now has 11 pledges for the Class of 2010.
DT Cassius Marsh
Marsh spoke with ESPN's Greg Biggins about his decision: "In the end, I had to do what I felt was best for me and that turned out to be LSU. I'm very excited about getting out there and being part of the Tiger program."
RB Ja'Terian Douglas
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound standout picked Tulsa over Oklahoma State. Among others were Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, SMU, UTEP and Louisiana Tech.
OLB Derek Earls
Originally from Waconia, Minn., he was also offered by Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa State, Illinois and Colorado.
CB Mike Harris
Harris told ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com: "My plan is to finish up my classes in good standing, and sign with Alabama in December, and it's up to me to get the job done. I want nothing more than to be a part of this class, and help Alabama win National Championships, but I have to take care of business first."
S Myan Tave
RB Ka'Deem Carey
"I got an offer from Arizona State a few days ago. ASU is my only offer but I get a good amount of mail from the Pac-10 and then schools like Colorado, Colorado State, Oklahoma, those type of schools."
