The Big 12 has named its players of the week for Week 7, as voted on by a panel of media.
OFFENSE: Seth Doege, QB, Texas Tech
Doege threw for a career-high 499 yards and six touchdowns on 32 of 42 passing in a 49-14 win over No. 5 West Virginia, the most lopsided win over a top-five team in school history. He completed 21 of 30 passes for 336 yards and four touchdowns in the first half alone and became the fifth Tech quarterback to throw 50 career touchdown passes.
DEFENSE: Cody Davis, S, Texas Tech
Davis helped Texas Tech hold West Virginia to just 14 points and made a season-high 13 tackles with a pair of pass breakups.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Quinn Sharp, P/K, Oklahoma State
Sharp hit field goals of 49 and 42 yards in OSU's 20-14 win over Kansas and averaged 53 yards on his five punts, including a 70-yarder that pinned Kansas at its 8-yard line. He added another 70-yard punt and had four touchbacks.
