Three Big 12 finalists for academic honor

Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing, Baylor linebacker Joe Pawelek and Texas quarterback Colt McCoy are among 16 finalists named Thursday for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by the National Football Foundation.

All of the semifinalists will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship. The winner of the trophy will receive a $25,000 post-graduate scholarship and be honored Dec. 8 in New York City.
