I'm not surprised that Nebraska has picked it up offensively today against Baylor.
But here are a couple of tidbits I thought were significant.
Quarterback Cody Green is proving to be a threat running the ball, which is exactly what Shawn Watson's offense needs. Zac Lee couldn't run the zone read effectively and that was one of the biggest reasons the Cornhuskers have sputtered offensively so far this season.
Green has 25 yards on his first four carries and looks comfortable running the offense.
He's also working young receivers like Khiry Cooper and Brandon Kinnie into the rotation. It's given the Cornhuskers some additional playmakers to go along with Niles Paul, who produced an early 45-yard reception.
It's a big reason why the Cornhuskers are off to the 20-0 lead shortly before halftime.
