National sack leader Von Miller told the San Antonio Express-News/Houston Chronicle that he will consider declaring for the NFL draft after the end of the season.

“You've at least got to take a look at it,” Miller said of checking out his status for April's draft.

Miller, a hybrid defensive end/linebacker, leads the nation with 13.5 sacks. He also leads the Aggies with three forced fumbles and has notched 34 tackles this season.

And despite his breakout season, I'm not sure exactly where Miller would fit in the NFL. His size (6-foot-3, 240 pounds) is good for college football. But in many cases there are already many linebackers who are bigger and faster than he is, much less defensive ends.

But a player with his unique pass-rushing skills always will have a place in football at any level. It would be interesting to see how Miller's skills translate to the next level.
