Kansas State's Josh Cherry has delivered on big kicks and struggled on easy ones all season.
His mercurial season is continuing again Saturday.
Cherry nailed a 47-yard field goal early in the second quarter to boost the Wildcats to a 3-0 lead. And then he drilled the ensuing kickoff out of bounds, providing Kansas with outstanding field position on the next drive.
No wonder Bill Snyder was waiting for Cherry when he came off the field after his misplaced kickoff.
