Arrest made in Stoops home burglary case

Well, that didn't take long. Bob Stoops' family home was robbed early Wednesday morning. On Saturday morning, police apprehended a suspect.

From colleague Jake Trotter:

According to the Cleveland County Detention Center, Corey McCarty, 21, was arrested 6:26 a.m. Saturday in Norman and charged with first-degree burglary.

McCarty also faces charges of possession of stolen property, larceny of a motor vehicle and use of a stolen credit card.

Police are still looking for a second suspect in connection with the burglary.

Nice work from police. Trotter also reported that surveillance video was released on Friday evening.
