Big 12 fantasy football: Week 6

Now that we're getting into the conference slate and there are no more FCS cupcakes left, you'd think our Big 12 fantasy football teams will start struggling to put up big points.

Well, that wasn't much of a problem in week 5. All three of our squads put up more than 120 points last weekend, and it was an awfully close call. My team, guided by big points from three Baylor Bears and West Virginia receiver Kevin White's 25-point breakout, edged out the win at 130 points.

Brandon's team came up two points short at 128 but got big days, as usual, from Lache Seastrunk and J.W. Walsh, and Jake finished with 125 points. We're all even now that each of us has won two weeks.

This week's Big 12 fantasy leader was a surprise riser, Kansas State quarterback Daniel Sams. He took over the Wildcats' offense and posted 34 points in a loss to Oklahoma State.
