Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell, Texas Tech safety Daniel Charbonnet and Iowa State kick returner Leonard Johnson were named Monday as the Big 12's players of the week.

It was the fifth time that Harrell has been honored by the conference and the second straight week. Charbonnet was named for the second time this season and Johnson was picked for the first time in his career.

Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell, Sr., Ennis, Texas

Completed 36 of 53 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns in leading the Red Raiders to a 39-33 win over No. 1 Texas. Harrell had an 18-yard scoring pass to Eric Morris in the second quarter and completed a 28-yard game-winning pass to Michael Crabtree with one second left in the game. Harrell has 14,303 career passing yards and moved past Colt Brennan of Hawaii (14,193, 2005-07) into third place on the NCAA career passing list. He also has 119 career touchdown passes.

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

Texas Tech S Daniel Charbonnet, Sr., The Woodlands, Texas

Produced his fifth interception of the season and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown in the second half of Texas Tech's win over Texas. In addition, he contributed four tackles, a tackle for loss, a pass break-up and also forced and recovered the Texas fumble on the onside kick attempt on the final play that sealed the victory.

Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

Iowa State KR Leonard Johnson, Fr., Clearwater, Fla.

Set an NCAA record with 319 kickoff return yards in Iowa State's game at Oklahoma State. Johnson averaged 35.4 yards on his nine kickoff returns, which included returns of 72 and 73 yards. His 72-yarder set up an ISU touchdown. Both returns were the longest kickoff return by a Cyclone since 1999. Johnson's 319 yards eclipsed the record of 282 yards set by Justin Miller of Clemson vs. Florida State on Sept. 25, 2004.
