Big 12 player of the week honors are getting to be commonplace for Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell, who picked up his third-straight weekly honor from the conference Monday and the sixth of his career.

Other honorees chosen by a media panel for last week's games included Nebraska defensive tackle/fullback Ndamukong Suh and Texas A&M kick returner Cyrus Gray.

It was the first time that Suh and Gray both were chosen for the first time.

Harrell becomes the second player in Big 12 history to be picked as the conference's player of the week in three-straight weeks, joining Ricky Williams in 1998. Williams won the Heisman Trophy in that season.

Here's a look at what each player did to earn their honors.

Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

QB Graham Harrell, Texas Tech, Sr., Ennis, Texas

Completed 40-of-50 passes for 456 yards and six touchdowns in Texas Tech's 56-20 win over Oklahoma State. His touchdown passes matched his career high for a single game. Harrell ranks third all-time on the NCAA career passing yardage list with 14,759 yards, trailing former BYU quarterback Ty Detmer in second place by 272 yards. Harrell has 4,077 yards and 36 touchdown passes this season and has thrown 125 career touchdown passes.

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

DT/FB Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska, Jr., Portland, Ore.

Collected a career-high 12 tackles in Nebraska's 45-35 victory over Kansas. The 12 stops are the most by a Nebraska defensive lineman since 2005. Suh also had a career-best 2.5 sacks for 18 yards in losses and made four tackles behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of 19 yards. Suh played fullback in short-yardage situations and caught a two-yard touchdown pass. He leads the Cornhuskers with 60 tackles and his 6.0 per-game tackle average tops all Big 12 defensive linemen.

Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

KR/RB Cyrus Gray, Texas A&M, Fr., DeSoto, Texas

Set a school single-game record with 261 kickoff return yards on seven attempts in the Aggies' 66-28 loss to Oklahoma. It marked the second-most kickoff return yardage in Big 12 history behind Iowa State's Leonard Johnson who had 319 against Oklahoma State on Nov. 1. Gray had a 97-yard return for a touchdown, the first Aggie kickoff return for a score since Kerry Franks took a 99-yarder back against Texas Tech in 2006. Gray totaled a career-high 294 all-purpose yards in the game for the most since Leeland McElroy established the school record with 359 against LSU in 1995. Gray is only seven yards away from breaking the Big 12 record for kickoff return yards in a season, 994 by Nebraska's Josh Davis in 2002.
