OU's Bradford and Lewis named as Big 12 Players of Week

The Big 12 announced Monday that Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford and linebacker Travis Lewis were named as conference players of the week by a media panel selected by the conference. Bradford was honored for the first time this season and second time in his career. Lewis was selected for the second time in his career.
There was no special teams player of the week.
Here's a look at the individual accomplishments of the players.
Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week
Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford, So., Oklahoma City, Okla.
Completed 14 of 19 passes with no interceptions for 304 yards and four touchdowns in the Sooners' 65-21 victory over Texas Tech. Bradford averaged more than 21.7 yards per completion with TD throws of 19, 28, 66 and 26 yards. Bradford also rushed five times for 18 yards. He took his final snap of the game with 13:54 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Oklahoma LB Travis Lewis, Fr., San Antonio, Texas
Produced a game-high 13 tackles, a pass break-up and a 47-yard interception return in the Sooners' victory over Texas Tech. The redshirt freshman returned his interception to the Red Raiders' 1 and it was converted into a touchdown on the next Oklahoma snap. The Sooners held the Red Raiders to 26.9 points under their average scoring total and 160.5 yards under their total offense average in season-worst performances in both statistics.
