Oklahoma State could be on the verge of losing its second assistant coach to new Auburn coach Gene Chizik's new staff.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported today that Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy has given Chizik permission to interview Trooper Taylor, the Cowboys' co-offensive coordinator.
On Friday, the Cowboys lost running backs coach Curtis Luper to Chizik's staff for a similar position.
Taylor is known as one of the nation's top recruiters who cut his teeth in the Southeast and particularly Florida. He is also rumored as a potential candidate to join Randy Shannon's staff at Miami or perhaps at Florida if Gators receivers coach Billy Gonzales doesn't return.
