Big 12 well-represented in cheap-shot contest

The outstanding Web site is conducting its annual contest to determine the cheapest shot in college football during the preceding season.

Three Big 12 incidents received inclusion in the Web site's list of 10 finalists for 2008.

Interestingly, three of the nominees came from the same game -- Boise State's 37-32 victory over Oregon on Sept. 20.

The Big 12 has some history in the contest. Texas A&M's Kellen Heard's late hit on Colt McCoy in 2006 won the first cheap shot contest conducted by the site.

All of the 2008 finalists are presented for perusal.

Vote early and often.
