Sooners can't break through to grab lead
By ESPN.com staff
Oklahoma rebounded from a disastrous 19-0 start, but it hasn't been able to finally grab hold of the lead.
The Sooners faked a long field goal, lobbing a deep pass over the top to tight end James Hanna, but he dropped reserve quarterback John Nimmo's pass.
Oklahoma has looked dominant in the second half after giving up a kickoff return to begin the third quarter, holding the Aggies offense to negative yardage for the rest of the quarter.
The Sooners' 17 points helped, but the defense will have to keep its pace for Oklahoma to complete the comeback. The Aggies offense has been out of rhythm since halftime, but one more score to push this to a two-possession game could be enough to win.
