STILLWATER, Okla. -- After sleepwalking through most of the first half, Oklahoma State has awakened over stumbling Georgia.
The Cowboys extended their lead to 17-7 early in the third quarter, stealing a page from Georgia coach Mark Richt's bag of tricks with their last touchdown.
It was a masterful call by Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy who flanked Dez Bryant wide before quick-snapping to quarterback Zac Robinson. He easily made the end zone on his 1-yard keeper.
After dominating for most of the first half, the Bulldogs now face a significant hole.
And considering the way their offense has struggled after their first possession, it will be a tough trip back into the game for them.
The scoring drive was set up by a 73-yard return of the opening kickoff by Perrish Cox, the Big 12's leader in kickoff returns last season.
