Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads snapped the nation's longest road losing streak as his Cyclones went into Kent State and defeated the injury-depleted Golden Flashes, 34-14.
Alexander Robinson rushed for 145 yards and Austen Arnaud accounted for three touchdowns to enable the Cyclones to win the game. It boosts their record to 2-1 for the season.
The Cyclones obviously were helped by two critical injuries for Kent State. The Golden Flashes were missing starting quarterback Giorgio Morgan and leading returning receiver and rusher Eugene Jarvis.
