Cowboys continue to force turnovers
By David Ubben
Oklahoma State tied for 11th nationally last year with a plus-12 turnover margin.
This year, the Cowboys are in a league of their own at plus-20, after forcing a fumble from a stingy Kansas State offense on the opening drive.
Joseph Randle capitalized on the next play with a 4-yard run to put OSU up, 7-0.
Oklahoma State emphasizes forcing turnovers in every practice, tracking the defense's progress in the stat during every day's practice.
We're seeing more results today. LSU, at plus-15, is the closest team in turnover margin to Oklahoma State's plus-20 this year.
Kansas State entered tonight's game with eight turnovers and just five lost fumbles. Oklahoma State already made it nine and six.
Just another Saturday in Stillwater.
