It was worth staying up late to watch all of the games and settle on these choices for the Big 12's most prized awards for weekly individual achievement.

Texas safety Earl Thomas: Produced a team-best seven tackles, including two for losses, forced a fumble, notched a game-clinching interception and produced a pass deflection in the Longhorns’ 16-13 victory over Oklahoma.

Texas Tech defensive end Brandon Sharpe: Notched seven tackles, broke up a pass and produced four sacks to direct the Red Raiders’ 31-10 triumph over Nebraska.

Colorado running back Rodney Stewart: Rushed for a game-high 108 yards on 24 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns to pace the Buffaloes’ 34-30 upset over Kansas. Stewart’s 13-yard TD run with 8:36 left accounted for the game-winning score.

Kansas State running back Daniel Thomas: Rushed for a game-high 91 yards on 18 carries and scored four touchdowns – on scampers of 7, 3, 9 and 17 yards – to power the Wildcats’ 62-14 victory over Texas A&M.

Oklahoma State wide receiver Hubert Anyiam: Snagged a career-high 10 receptions for 119 yards, including a 25-yard TD reception that gave them the lead for good late in the first half, to help boost the Cowboys’ 33-17 triumph over Missouri.
