Big 12 helmet stickers, Week 8

A tough choice as usual for our helmet stickers, but several worthy candidates materialized across the Big 12 in Saturday’s game.
Iowa State’s defense: It was hard to split this sticker up considering the Cyclones forced eight Nebraska turnovers -- including four inside the ISU 6-yard line -- in the Cyclones’ gritty 9-7 victory over the Cornhuskers. Five different players accounted for a fumble recovery or an interception in the Cyclones’ first victory in Nebraska since 1977.
Kansas State tailback Daniel Thomas: The converted junior-college quarterback rushed 20 times for a career-high 145 yards and a touchdown to power the Wildcats’ 20-6 triumph over Colorado. Thomas’ nine rushing touchdowns this season are the most by a KSU running back since James Johnson rushed for 12 touchdowns in 2007.
Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson: He completed 23 of 27 passes for 250 yards and a season-high three touchdowns to lead the Cowboys to a 34-7 victory over Baylor. Robinson's 85 percent completion rate was the best ever for an Oklahoma State quarterback in a single game with at least 20 attempts, breaking the former record OSU coach Mike Gundy set by hitting 77 percent of his passes against Kansas in 1989.
Texas A&M’s offensive line: The Aggies’ much-maligned group paved the way for 321 yards rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in A&M’s stunning 52-30 victory over Texas Tech in Lubbock -- the most points ever scored by the Aggies against Tech in the 68-game history of the series. It was the most rushing yards for the Aggies since they produced 359 rushing yards at Nebraska in 2007.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy: Completed 26 for 31 passes for 269 yards and matched his season high with three touchdown passes to lead the Longhorns’ 41-7 victory over Missouri. It boosted his record to 39-7 as a starter at Texas, tying Peyton Manning for second place among all starting quarterbacks in college football history. McCoy has thrown at least two touchdown passes in 31 of his 46 collegiate starts.
