Time for the numbers that tell the story of Saturday's games.
5.27: Average yards per carry given up by the Texas Tech defense in 2011, the worst mark in the Big 12.
2.89: Average yards per carry given up by the Texas Tech defense in 2012, the best mark in the Big 12.
10: Rank in the Big 12 in time of possession for Baylor's offense.
54.3: Points per game for Baylor's offense, which ranks second in the Big 12 and second nationally. (Thanks, Savannah State).
3: Extra-point attempts missed by Iowa State, the most in the Big 12, despite attempting just 17 extra points, the second fewest in the Big 12.
83: Combined tackles through five games for A.J. Klein and Jake Knott for Iowa State. The Cyclones are the only Big 12 team with two players in the top six in the league in tackles.
6.94: Average yards per carry for Oklahoma State's offense, the best mark in college football.
5.58: Average yards per carry given up by Kansas' defense, the 117th-best mark in college football.
2: Runs longer than 50 yards for Oklahoma's Damien Williams this season, the only Big 12 back to achieve that feat.
208.2: Average all-purpose yards per game for West Virginia's Tavon Austin, the best mark in the Big 12.
