TCU QB Trevone Boykin suffers knee injury
By Brandon Chatmon
TCU starting quarterback Trevone Boykin left the Horned Frogs' 36-14 loss to Oklahoma State with a left knee injury on Saturday. Boykin was hit and appeared to twist his left knee as he crumbled to the ground with 1:26 remaining in the game. The severity of his injury is unknown.
Boykin was replaced by sophomore Matt Brown on TCU's final drive.
If Boykin is lost for any amount of time it could be crippling for the Horned Frogs as they face West Virginia, Kansas State, Texas and Oklahoma in their final four games. Brown could be the third different starting quarterback at TCU after Casey Pachall left the program earlier this season, handing the reins of the offense to Boykin.
