By David Ubben

The Big 12 has named its official players of the week for Week 9, as voted on by a media panel.

OFFENSE: Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State

Klein threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-26 passing and rushed for two more touchdowns and 83 yards on 12 carries in Saturday's 55-24 win over Texas Tech. His 49 career rushing touchdowns broke a school record and are now the sixth most in Big 12 history. It was K-State's third 50-point game in Big 12 play this year.

DEFENSE: Jake Knott, LB, Iowa State

Knott made 11 tackles and forced a fumble to stuff Baylor on the Iowa State goal line in the Cyclones' 35-21 win over the Bears. It was his 10th career forced fumble and 19th career game with at least 10 tackles.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Quinn Sharp, P/K/KOS, Oklahoma State

Sharp hit all five of his field goal attempts to tie a school record and forced seven touchbacks on his nine kickoffs. His five punts averaged 43 yards and two were downed inside the 20-yard line. His longest punt of the day was 59 yards.
