Big 12 loses more ground on Pac-12

By David Ubben

The Big 12 will have some work to do in the bowl season.

It finished the season with just three teams ranked in the BCS, and is now almost five full points behind the Pac-12 as college football's No. 2 league in the ESPN Stats and Info Conference Rankings.

Here's the full table:

The Big 12 suffered late losses and has just two teams ranked in the AP poll, too. That's the same number as the WAC and MAC. That's the fewest the league has had all season. It'll need to do some work in the bowls to catch up.

The Big 12 has three head-to-head games with Pac-12 opponents (Baylor vs. UCLA; Texas vs. Oregon State; Kansas State vs. Oregon) to try and make up some ground on the league.
