Nebraska defense forces critical KSU turnover

By staff

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska's defense has been susceptible to passes out of the backfield most of tonight.

But Nebraska safety Larry Asante's jarring tackle of Keithen Valentine kept Kansas State from scoring.

Asante's tackle was right on the ball as Valentine was headed for the Nebraska end zone.

Prince Amukamara dived on the ball at the Nebraska 5, killing the Wildcats' best scoring opportunity of the game.

It's the kind of mistake that KSU can't afford to have if they want to win this game.
