Earl Thomas provides key interception
By ESPN.com staff
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas safety Earl Thomas has been the Big 12's most productive defensive back all season.
Thomas came up with another big play as he snagged his eighth interception of the season, stopping Texas A&M in the Texas end zone.
Jerrod Johnson's pass appeared headed for Howard Morrow, but it was overthrown and Thomas easily picked it off.
It marked the second straight possession where the Texas defense produced a turnover. Earlier, Sergio Kindle pounced on a fumble by Christine Michael.
The Texas defense was singed in the first half. It is playing like a different team after the break.
