Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said that quarterback Joe Ganz's shoulder injury is getting better and he should be ready to play in the Cornhuskers' regular-season finale Friday against Colorado.
Ganz had an MRI two days after the Cornhuskers' victory over Kansas State that revealed only bruising of his shoulder. He was excused from practice last week to allow the injury to heal.
"Joe is fine," Pelini said. "He's 100 percent. There are no issues with him. He could have practiced last week. We just chose to give him a day or two (off)."
Pelini added that linebacker Cody Glenn's playing status hasn't changed and he won't be playing Friday. Glenn was indefinitely suspended on Nov. 11 for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
But Pelini left open the possibility that Glenn could return for the Cornhuskers' bowl game.
"You never know," Pelini said. "But that's why he's indefinitely suspended."
