The Big 12 has a handful of impact transfers who'll be ready to take the field this season. Here's who you need to be looking out for.

Dayne Crist, QB, Kansas: Crist is the next in a line of high-profile transfers who don't have to sit out a season because they completed their undergraduate requirements and are pursuing a graduate degree not offered at their previous university. Russell Wilson made the jump from NC State to Wisconsin last season, and now Crist will join the coach who recruited him to Notre Dame -- Charlie Weis -- to try to revive a floundering Kansas program. He is a big upgrade at quarterback and he will try to make a group of receivers look good after Weis lauded them all spring.

Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor: Seastrunk is another high-profile transfer who could have a big impact, but he had to sit out the greatest season in Big 12 history for Baylor last season. He broke a big run in the spring game and finished with 138 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries. He left Oregon amidst a recruiting scandal and very little playing time to come home -- just up the road from his hometown of Temple, Texas. The shifty speedster will offer a home run threat Baylor needs without Robert Griffin III.

Look out in 2013 for another high-profile running back, too. Former Nebraska talent Aaron Green left the Huskers to return home to Texas, too. He'll have to sit out 2012 after transferring to TCU, but he'll be a major weapon for the Horned Frogs next fall.
