T-minus six days and counting until national signing day.
As such, most of the prospects are starting to firm up their commitments.
That's why it's good to have the esteemed Tom Luginbill, director of college scouting for Scouts Inc., filing his daily updates on the nation's top prospects.
Luginbill provided a copious report this morning of late news among the remaining Big 12-related recruits who haven't decided on their college choices as of yet.
For the latest recruiting information, always consider ESPN.com's On the Trail, which is one of the best highlights of our Insider benefits. I can't pull myself away from it this time of year.
DE Jackson Jeffcoat
Plano, Texas
Plano West H.S.
Scouts Grade: 88
ESPNU150 Rank: 2
Position Rank: 1
Top recruit Jackson Jeffcoat (Plano, Texas/West H.S.) is now only considering Texas, Oklahoma and Houston after eliminating Arizona State, ESPN's Gerry Hamilton reports.
USC and Florida were also previously included in the ESPNU 150's group of favorites.
Jeffcoat is expected to make his decision soon in the coming days but has not set an announcement date.
He posted 68.5 tackles, 8.5 sacks and two interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown) as a senior. Jeffcoat was named to the First-Team Class 5A All-State team and was his district's defensive player of the year.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect chose the Huskers over an offer from Washington State. He visited Lincoln officially for the game against Texas Tech two weeks ago.
Nebraska now has 11 pledges for the Class of 2010.
DT Cassius Marsh
Marsh spoke with ESPN's Greg Biggins about his decision: "In the end, I had to do what I felt was best for me and that turned out to be LSU. I'm very excited about getting out there and being part of the Tiger program."

I want nothing more than to be a part of this class, and help Alabama win National Championships, but I have to take care of business first."
S Myan Tave
RB Ka'Deem Carey
"I got an offer from Arizona State a few days ago. ASU is my only offer but I get a good amount of mail from the Pac-10 and then schools like Colorado, Colorado State, Oklahoma, those type of schools."
