Fall practice is just around the corner.
The best indication of that came when Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops released his pre-camp depth char, which reveals several interesting nuggets.
On defense, injured middle linebacker Ryan Reynolds doesn't appear to be in the mix as freshman Tom Wort is listed as playing behind starter Mike Balogun.
Auston English, recovering from a variety of injuries last season, has reclaimed a starting job at defensive end in front of Frank Alexander.
Adrian Taylor apparently has fought off the charge of DeMarcus Granger to keep his starting job at nose guard.
And Sam Proctor and Quinton Carter have earned the top positions at safety -- the only spot on defense where the Sooners aren't returning a starter.
Stoops did not release his special-teams depth chart.
Here's a look at how Stoops lines the Sooners up heading into camp.
