Colt McCoy's day is finished as he's led Texas to a commanding 45-14 lead early in the fourth quarter over Baylor.

Backup quarterback John Chiles is in the game for the Longhorns, who have stymied Baylor after allowing two touchdowns early in the second quarter.

McCoy passed for 300 yards and a career-high five touchdown passes, throwing them to four different receivers.

In Boulder, Iowa State has charged to a surprising 10-0 lead at the half. The beleaguered Cyclones defense has allowed only 110 yards and six first downs in the first half. Jason Scales accounted for the game's only touchdown on a 1-yard plunge at the end of a drive in which he had six carries.

And an expected offense showdown at Lincoln hasn't really started yet as Kansas and Nebraska are tied at 7-7 early in the second quarter. Tailback Marlon Lucky tossed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Mike McNeill. The Jayhawks, who are looking for their first victory in Lincoln since 1968, scored on a 28-yard pass from Todd Reesing to Kerry Meier.
