It's not exactly: crème brûlée.

But for those addicted to recruiting information, Tom Luginbill's daily missives are the next best thing to that tasty dessert.

Particularly to cap off a dose of lunch links with some of the latest Big 12-related recruiting information.

The saga of senior-to-be tailback Aaron Green of Madison High School in San Antonio will be particularly interesting.

Here's the latest lowdown on Green and some other players who were recruited by schools around the conference.

And for the latest recruiting information, always consider's On the Trail, which is one of the highlights of Insider benefits.

RB Aaron Green

San Antonio, TX

James Madison H.S.

Elite junior prospect Aaron Green has Texas, USC and Nebraska among his favorites, ESPN affiliate Web site reports.

"They're real good," Green said of Texas, who is expected to offer soon. "They have a good program, obviously, or they wouldn't have been in the national championship game a couple of days ago. I'm going to try to go to their Junior Day in February."

Several others are pursuing Green, who hopes to focus his search in the near future, "During the spring I'm going to try and narrow my list down to around eight schools."

Nebraska might have an edge because Green's older brother, Andrew, currently is playing there.

Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Baylor, California, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others have also offered.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder exploded onto the scene as a sophomore rushing for 2,024 yards and 27 touchdowns.

He dealt with minor ligament damage and bone bruises this fall. He finished the season with 1,133 yards and 14 total touchdowns.
