Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook is unveiling its conference-by-conference previews on ESPN.com over the next several days. The Big East gets to go first today.
The Cincinnati preview is free, but the others require an insider subscription. Here are the links to the other schools' previews:
UConn
Louisville
Pittsburgh
Rutgers
South Florida
Syracuse
West Virginia
I've read them all, and here are a couple of thoughts:

I've read them all, and here are a couple of thoughts:
- Blue Ribbon pegs Pitt, West Virginia, Cincinnati, UConn and Rutgers as contenders for the league title, saying Pittsburgh is the obvious preseason favorite and Rutgers is probably a year away.
- USF coach Skip Holtz says he expects junior college import Mike Hayes to help at running back.
- I love this opening on the Mountaineers' preview:"It is practically impossible to imagine West Virginia coach Bill Stewart in a bad mood. He probably gives pep talks to the Bluebird of Happiness. Next to him, the Jolly Green Giant needs Prozac. His upbeat attitude could turn a morgue into a funhouse. The guy is so upbeat that a drop of his sweat could make Clippers fans happy.
- Stewart says Noel Devine must catch the ball out of the backfield better and that he "needs to become a Reggie Bush or a C.J. Spiller on kickoffs" to compete for the Heisman Trophy.
