The big game is Sunday, and there will be plenty of Big East ties to the Super Bowl. Here's a look:

Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona's star receiver, played at Pitt from 2002-2003, while Cardinals linebacker Gerald Hayes was a Panther from 1999-2002.

The Steelers have four Big East products. Cornerback William Gay attended Louisville and was a senior on the 2007 Orange Bowl team, while free safety Anthony Smith went to Syracuse. Offensive lineman Darnell Stapleton is a Rutgers man, and linebacker Andre Frazier played at Cincinnati.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was a Cincinnati assistant in charge of defensive backs from 1999-2000.

On his staff, assistant special teams coach Amos Jones (1999-2002) and offensive line coach Larry Zierlein (1997-2000) coached for the Bearcats. Jones also was an assistant at Pitt in 1992.

Arizona linebackers coach Bill Davis was a four-year letter winner for Cincinnati at quarterback and wide receiver from 1985-88. Assistant head coach Russ Grim was an offensive lineman at Pitt from 1977-1980, while defensive backs coach Teryl Austin starred in the Panthers' secondary from 1984-87. Austin also coached at Syracuse from 1996-98.
