Pitt has a long and storied history with multiple national championships to its name. So the Panthers have a lot of worthy candidates for their own Mount Rushmore.

Here are my four nominees:

Tony Dorsett: Duh.

Dan Marino: Double Duh.

Hugh Green: A dominant defensive end who was the first-ever defensive player to win the Walter Camp Award. He was named to Pitt's all-time team after his sophomore year.

Mike Ditka: Like Dorsett and Marino, he was inducted into both the College Football and Pro Football Hall of Fame. And he would be on the Chicago Bears' Mount Rushmore, too.

Lots of big names left off this list, including Johnny Majors, Jackie Sherrill, Mark May, Larry Fitzgerald and Joe Schmidt, among others. Which four would you put on Pitt's Mount Rushmore?
