Rutgers offensive coordinator John McNulty has been contacted by the NFL's Arizona Cardinals to fill their vacant position of wide receivers coach, Tom Luicci writes in The Star-Ledger.

Luicci's story comes on the heels of an Arizona radio report that Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt had interviewed McNulty for the job. And really, who wouldn't want to coach Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin?

McNulty has been Rutgers' playcaller for two years and has also coached receivers and quarterbacks since joining the staff in 2004.

Greg Schiano lost another assistant, running backs coach Gary Brown, to the NFL last week. If McNulty were to leave, that would make seven Big East teams that have had to change at least one coordinator this offseason. West Virginia is the only school so far to keep its staff intact.
