Any Pitt fans who are unhappy with the way this year has panned out at least might have something to look forward to in the future.

The latest ESPN Scouts Inc. Class of 2011 team rankings are out, and the Panthers have actually moved up a spot to No. 21. Big East teams don't often crack the Top 25 of rankings like this, so Dave Wannstedt and his staff must be doing some good work on the recruiting trail.

Pitt has 18 commits, including 17 who are rated as three-star or better players by ESPN. Bill Belton, a New Jersey athlete, is the top-rated player and a member of the ESPNU 150.

A lot can change between now and signing day, but the Panthers seem to be assembling a terrific class.
