It's officially The Day After.

The Super Bowl is over, which means no more football games for seven months. But at least a few Big East alumni now have Super Bowl rings coming their way.

NFL champion Green Bay featured only one Big East player on its active roster for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh: offensive lineman Jason Spitz (Louisville). Spitz did not start but did see time in the game. Former Cincinnati defensive back Brandon Underwood was not active for the game. In addition, former Syracuse defensive back Anthony Smith was on the reserve roster, and ex-Cincinnati defensive lineman/linebacker Curtis Young was on the Packers' practice squad.

Louisville product William Gay started at cornerback for the Steelers in the Super Bowl and finished with two tackles. Former West Virginia safety Ryan Mundy assisted on a special-teams tackle in the game for Pittsburgh.
