Less than three weeks before the start of spring practice, West Virginia is looking for a new wide receivers coach.
Lonnie Galloway, the lone offensive staff member retained by new offensive coordinator/head coach-in-waiting Dana Holgorsen, will take the receivers job at Wake Forest. Galloway came to the Mountaineers as part of Bill Stewart's original staff in 2008. He was viewed as one of the stronger recruiters on staff.
Receiver will be a key position for West Virginia in Holgorsen's new offensive attack, and the team begins spring drills March 28. Current assistant Shannon Dawson is West Virginia's inside receivers coach and could oversee the entire position this spring if needed.
