South Florida fans were excited last year when junior college receiver T.J. Knowles joined the team in May. What intrigued fans was that Knowles was listed at 6-foot-8, though that was later downgraded to 6-6.
Knowles, though, never made much of an impact. And it appears his Bulls career is already over.
Head coach Skip Holtz told reporters after Monday's practice that Knowles, who is from Las Vegas, likely will transfer because of some "things at home he needs to tend to."
Even though the Bulls had major needs at receiver last year, Knowles barely played and finished with only three catches for 13 yards, with most of his production coming in the opener against Stony Brook.
