We are getting closer to No. 1. But first a few more players in our countdown of the Top 25 players in the Big East.
No. 8 Ray Graham, RB, Pitt
Graham ran for 922 yards and eight touchdowns as the No. 2 running back to Dion Lewis last season, so imagine what he will do this season in a featured role. Certainly the new offense coach Todd Graham is bringing to Pitt is different than the one the Panthers ran last season. But Todd Graham has raved about his running back this fall and believes he will be a vital part of this offense. Ray Graham has averaged more than 6 yards a carry in his career, and goes into this season bigger and stronger.
He also will have more of a role in the passing game out of the backfield as well. Last season, Graham caught 24 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns so expect those numbers to be higher.
"We’re just going to go out there and be the best we can be," Ray Graham said. "I think we have a lot of weapons to be that No. 1 offense in the country. It’s up to us to operate the offense and get the feeling down."
