Posted by ESPN.com's Brian Bennett Our predictions usually run on Thursdays, but there's a game tonight in the any-day-you-wanna-play Big East. I'll include this in my Week 3 results tomorrow.
Kansas State 27, Louisville 20: To like Kansas State is to take on faith that the Wildcats are more than the product of their cushy schedule (Montana State and North Texas) and that their legion of juco transfers will be ready for an actual opponent. But the Wildcats have executed almost perfectly on both sides of the ball their first two games, a sign that maybe they've taken a step forward. Louisville is banged up at receiver and offensive line, and its improved defense hasn't faced a threat like K-State QB Josh Freeman, a possible first-round NFL draft pick. The Cardinals will take their lumps tonight and hope to get healthy for next week's Big East opener against Connecticut.
