LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Adjustments by Kansas State? Not so much.

Louisville remains in control of this game by pounding the ball on the ground to set up favorable down-and-distance situations. Kansas State, meanwhile, has done nothing on offense since the first quarter. The Wildcats' lone score in the third quarter came on a sensational 86-yard punt return by Deon Murphy.

Granted, there's not a lot of competition on a Wednesday night, but that's a guaranteed SportsCenter Top 10 play.

Louisville's Victor Anderson might be in there too, after his 56-yard touchdown run that included a nifty spin move and at least three tacklers grasping at air.

The Cardinals' defense has bottled up Josh Freeman and stuffed the run. The turnaround defensive coordinator Ron English has engineered in less than one year is stunning.

About the only bad thing for Louisville so far has been special teams. They'll have to clean up that area next week versus Connecticut.
