- Tony Pike, QB, Cincinnati: The senior threw for 332 yards on 31-of-49 passing with two touchdowns through the air and one rushing in the Bearcats' 28-18 victory at Oregon State.
- Andre Dixon, RB, Connecticut: Dixon ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns in UConn's 30-22 upset at Baylor.
- Mike Williams, WR, Syracuse: Williams had 11 catches for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the Orange's 37-34 thriller over Northwestern.
- Pittsburgh's defense: Stickers all around for the Panthers' D, which held Navy to just 129 yards rushing in a 27-14 victory.
- Noel Devine, RB, West Virginia: The junior ran for 128 yards on 15 carries and scored three touchdowns in West Virginia's 41-30 loss at Auburn.
